4201和304區別
1、常用的不銹鋼板材分為201和304兩種鋼號，實際是是成分不同，304質量好一些，但價格貴，201差一些。
2、201組成為17Cr-4.5Ni-6Mn-N，是節Ni鋼種，301鋼的替代鋼。經冷加工后具有磁性，用于鐵路車輛。
3、304組成為18Cr-9Ni，是得到最廣泛應用的不銹鋼、耐熱鋼。用于食品生產設備、昔通化工設備、核能等。
4、201是含錳較高,表面很亮帶有暗黑的亮,含錳較高容易生銹。304含鉻較多,表面呈現啞光,不生銹.兩種放在一起就有比較了。最重要的就是耐腐蝕性能不同,201的耐腐蝕性能很差,所以價格就要便宜很多.又因為201含鎳低，所以價格比304的低，于是耐腐蝕性能就不如304的了。
5、201與304之間的區別就是含鎳的問題。而且304的價格現在都比較貴，一般都要接近20000一噸，但304的話起碼可以保證在使用過程中不會生銹。（可用藥水做實驗）
6、不銹鋼不易生銹是因為在鋼體表面形成富鉻氧化物可保護鋼體,201料屬于高錳不銹鋼較304硬度大高碳低鎳.

說到耐疲勞，201硬度較大，韌性不如304,還是304的耐疲勞度好些。

5316和304區別
現在最常用的兩種不銹鋼304，316（或對應于德/歐標的1.4308,1.4408），316與304在化學成分上的最主要區別就是316含Mo，而且一般公認，316的耐腐蝕性更好些，比304在高溫環境下更耐腐蝕。所以在高溫環境下，工程師一般都會選用316材料的零部件。但所謂事無絕對，在濃硫酸環境下，再高溫度也千萬別用316！不然這事可就出大了。學機械的人都學過螺紋，還記得為了防止在高溫情況下螺紋咬死，需要涂抹的一種黑乎乎的固體潤滑劑吧：二硫化鉬（MoS2）,從它就得出了2點結論不是：[1]Mo確實是一種耐高溫的物質（知道黃金用什么坩堝熔嗎？鉬坩堝！）。[2]：鉬很容易和高價硫離子反應生成硫化物。所以沒有任何一種不銹鋼是超級無敵耐腐蝕的。說到底，不銹鋼就是一塊雜質（不過這些雜質可都比鋼更耐腐蝕^^）較多的鋼，是鋼就可以和別的物質反應。
